Titanic
The unique natural oil quality of pomelo wood endows it with extraordinary characteristics such as waterproofing and anti-corrosion, earning it the title of "magical wood". Moreover, teak wood not only has excellent material, pleasing color, and elegant texture, but also has a moderate density (about 600 kg/cubic meter in air dry density), making it the preferred material for decorating high-end ships and luxury yachts. The decks of the luxurious Titanic cruise ship were all paved with teak wood. The restored first-class staircase of the Titanic is decorated with elegant and bright teak wood, while other decorations and furniture on the cruise ship also use a large amount of high-quality teak wood.

Shanghai Jing'an Temple, a millennium old ancient temple
Jing'an Temple is one of the famous ancient temples in Shanghai. It is said to have been built during the Chiwu period of Sun Wu of the Three Kingdoms period. The main building is made entirely of Burmese teak, which has been used for nearly 780 years. In terms of the use of teak, the entire Jing'an Temple, including its columns, arches, wooden doors, windows, floors, wall panels, ceilings, etc., is made of teak. The entire Jing'an Temple uses over 3000 cubic meters of teak. The pillar teak used in Jing'an Temple is generally over 100 years old and very expensive, making it a "national treasure".
 

千年古刹上海静安寺
静安寺是上海市的著名古刹之一，相传始建于三国孙吴赤乌年间，主建筑全部选用缅甸柚木制造，至今已近 780 年，就其柚木使用而言，整个静安寺内，其廊柱、拱梁、木门、窗格、地板、护墙板、吊顶等，均以柚木为尊，整个静安寺使用柚木达 3000 多立方米。静安寺所使用的立柱柚木，树龄一般在 100 年以上，价格非常昂贵，堪称“国宝”。

Myanmar Centennial Teak Bridge - Ubon Bridge
The long-lasting and unique teak wood can resist the erosion of long years. The palaces, temples, pagodas, Buddha statues, and other structures built with teak wood in Myanmar are all remarkably well preserved after hundreds or even centuries, which is truly awe inspiring. The 1.2-kilometer-long Ubon Bridge, built entirely of teak wood in the outskirts of Mandalay, was built in the 1850s and is one of the oldest surviving wooden bridges in the world. It lies quietly on Lake East Taman and has survived for over a hundred years without any damage.
